As an intern supporting the Customer Affordability & Innovationteam, you will play a key role in preparing the organization for new customer service technologies, AI-enabled knowledge management, and evolving business processes. Responsibilities will include updating and standardizing knowledge base content to support Copilot and AI deployments, documenting new and existing business processes, and assisting with organizational change management efforts.
Interns will help maintain communication and training resources, including Teams sites, FAQs, outage communications, and customer-facing materials. They will also support a variety of strategic initiatives such as new product launches, website enhancements, rate case activities, economic development tools, field service technology implementation, and distributed energy resource programs. This role offers hands-on experience in process improvement, change management, knowledge management, communications, and digital transformation within a large-scale technology modernization program.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, or other related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
All internships follow our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Interns must be in the immediate Pittsburgh area for the summer. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
