Job summary

First Citizens Bank offers a hybrid summer internship in the Special Assets Division, exposing you to stressed C&I loans and a range of collaboration with the Commercial Bank. You will work on tasks such as spreading financial statements, cash flow analysis, and risk considerations while engaging with various divisions and teams.

You will attend development sessions, participate in client call observations, and deliver a final project presentation to division leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during the time of the summer program).
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day activities surrounding problem loans and related tasks.
• Spreading financial statements and performing analysis (cash flow, ratios, sensitivity).
• Attend professional development sessions and networking events.
• Prepare a wrap-up presentation and present outcomes to stakeholders.
