Job summary

Freese and Nichols invites students to join the Summer 2027 Internship Program across multiple Texas locations. You will work with seasoned engineers on meaningful infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience in civil, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.

You’ll explore multiple practice areas, learn from leaders, and build a professional network through development and events. Relocation housing stipends are not provided, but a hybrid schedule offers up to 40% remote work.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a BS or MS in a listed engineering major or computer science.
• Graduation date August 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Develop design plans and assist with projects across practice areas.
• Support hydraulic calculations, drainage studies, and technical reports.
• Build and review models using industry-standard software.
• Visit project sites to observe designs in action and assist with deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and interns to gain hands-on experience.
