Job summary

Freese and Nichols invites students to join the Summer 2027 Internship Program across multiple Texas offices, including Dallas/Ft Worth, Houston, Austin, and more. Interns will work on real projects in civil/environmental/water resource engineering, gaining hands-on experience while building professional connections within the firm.

You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, explore diverse practice areas, and participate in development opportunities, social events, and project deliverables

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a BS or MS degree in one of the listed majors.
• Graduation date of August 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with calculations, analysis, and design
• Help prepare plans, reports, and other project deliverables
• Collect and analyze project or field data
• Work with experienced engineers to review your work and build your technical skills
• Use software and tools to help solve real project problems

Education

BS or MS degree in Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering; Biological and Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering; Structural/Geotechnical/Geological Engineering; Mechanical Engineering (Water Transmission & Utilities)
