Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least 3 years of design support experience.
• Experience on electrical utility or substation projects preferred.
• Proficient in drafting and design support principles and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis from substation sites and drawings.
• Work with engineers to resolve design details and prepare precise drawings.
• Provide routine design assistance with GD&T and calculations.
• Verify calculations and interpret contract plans.
• Collaborate with electrical, structural, and civil teams.
• Ensure adherence to utility standards and regulations.
• Prepare multiple design versions for engineer review.
• Ensure dimensions and materials comply with contracts.
• Assist with training and adhere to safety policies.
