Groups in Columbus, IN is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to lead structured group therapy sessions as part of a member-centered care team. You will facilitate discussions, collaborate with prescribers and recovery coaches, and help monitor member progress in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and an IN behavioral health license or certification, with a minimum of two years’ group-therapy leadership in a SUD context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active IN behavioral health license or certification required with ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• Comfort with technology: EMR, Telehealth, Google products, mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions using a plug-and-play approach from approved modalities.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups' mission.
