Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC seeks a Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations Associate Attorney in New York and other major cities to join their Global Finance practice. The candidate should have a JD from a top-tier law school, active NY bar admission, and 3+ years in securitization and structured finance, with CLOs a focus.

Former private credit or fund finance experience is a plus, and large firm background is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the State of New York.
• 3+ years of substantive securitization and structured finance experience, or transactional experience with a strong interest in CLOs.
• Prior experience with private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities is preferred but not required.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on structured finance and securitization matters, focusing on CLOs.
• Represent asset managers, investors, and underwriters in complex transactions.
• Collaborate with a global team to deliver cutting-edge service in structured finance and capital markets.
