Job summary

BETA Technologies, Inc. seeks a Structural Dynamics Engineer for our South Burlington, VT campus with optional hybrid work and occasional Raleigh, NC visits.

The role focuses on structural dynamic modeling, modal and aeroelastic analyses, and test correlation to advance electric aviation. Candidates should have a related engineering degree and hands-on experience with FEA tools; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in structural dynamics, vibration, aeroelasticity, and FEA.
• Experience with NASTRAN, FEMAP, MATLAB, Python or comparable tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply structural dynamic models and analyses for an advanced aircraft.
• Perform modal, harmonic, and aeroelastic analyses; support test correlation.
• Document methods, results, and design recommendations for reviews.

Education
