Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Virtual Design & Data Solutions Structural Staff Engineering Technician to support foundation and framing plans on complex facility projects. You will apply advanced technical knowledge to assist with drawings, elevations, and details using Autodesk Revit, and review markup in Bluebeam for accuracy and compliance.

Working with structural engineers and project teams, you will help deliver conceptual and detailed designs, maintain documentation, and ensure designs meet BV

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate required.
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

Function in a project engineering technician capacity.
Develop and modify technical deliverables under general direction.
Create design concepts and solutions using CAD/BIM.
Prepare drawings and documentation using CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling.
Provide technical guidance to other engineers and technicians.
Review standards and BV policies in project outputs.
Support field activities and coordinate with design group.
