Job summary

Stone Alliance Group is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager to partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial leaders. The role translates financial data into actionable insights to improve profitability, working capital, and overall performance.

The position offers hybrid work from NYC area or remote options for non-local candidates. You will lead analyses across manufacturing, inventory, and logistics, drive budgets, forecasts, and planning, and develop profitability models for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
5+ years in supply chain finance, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, FP&A.
Experience with standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling.
Experience in consumer products or manufacturing industries preferred.
Working knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge a plus.
Advanced Excel skills; able to analyze large data sets.
ERP experience with Dynamics 365 BC, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or similar.
Power BI or BI experience preferred.
Strong communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

Lead financial analysis and reporting across manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning; explain drivers behind performance.
Deliver variance analysis against budget/forecast with actionable recommendations.
Oversee standard costing and analyze labor, overhead, yield, and production variances.
Partner with Operations and Procurement to identify cost savings and productivity improvements.
Monitor inventory aging, obsolescence, and working capital; improve reporting visibility.
Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Build models evaluating product, customer, channel, and SKU profitability.
Support pricing decisions, new product launches, and business cases.
Participate in S&OP and IBP processes; assess financial impact of decisions.
Prepare management reporting translating data into clear insights and recommendations.
Strengthen financial controls and data quality across the organization.
