Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 1+ years in Strategic Sourcing with 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrates integrity, safety and compliance with the code of conduct.
• Proven ability to lead sourcing capabilities and communicate effectively.
• Understands internal customer requirements and cost/finance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and govern sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, performance optimization and risk mitigation.
• Communicate the global Sourcing strategy to stakeholders.
• Analyze cost drivers and advocate value optimization for Kennametal.
• Collaborate with internal customers to align sourcing decisions with requirements.
• Support project management to deliver value-added procurement solutions.
