Baystate Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Strategic Consultant for Supply Chain to lead cost‑effective, strategic sourcing across complex categories with a global view. The role is hybrid and onsite in Springfield or Holyoke.

You will negotiate contracts, develop should‑cost models, and present business cases to leadership, Finance, and Legal to maximize savings while ensuring service quality and compliance for internal customers across the system.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of strategic consulting or procurement experience.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience with ERP and e-Procurement systems.

Aufgaben

• Strategic category sourcing, through the development of category strategies based on spend analysis and market dynamics.
• Drive products' cost savings and cost avoidance and support strategic technologies.
• Interface with and manage business units for assigned strategic sourcing area(s).
• Partner with key stakeholders to build influence and challenge the status quo.
• Lead the sourcing activity targets for complex categories.
