Job summary

Rent the Runway is seeking an analytically rigorous FP&A professional to own inventory budgeting and drive data-driven decision making in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment. You will partner with inventory planning, procurement, and selling teams to optimize ROI and profitability.

The role involves building scenario models, presenting to senior leadership, and helping shape strategic initiatives including new revenue streams and procurement channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Strong financial analysis and Excel/model building skills.
• Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A budgeting for Inventory and track monthly/quarterly actuals vs budget.
• Build scenario-based models linking operational drivers to financial outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with inventory planning, buying and selling teams.
• Present, analyze, and interpret financial data to senior leadership.
• Monitor, analyze, report on business performance on a weekly cadence.
