Job summary

Elevate Search Partners is partnering with a premier Nebraska insurer to recruit a statutory accounting leader to guide the financial reporting team. The role, created to support ongoing leadership promotions, centers on owning regulatory relationships, coordinating statutory filings, and serving as SME on current and upcoming guidance.

You will join a seasoned leadership group, mentor accounting staff, and help drive finance transformation initiatives and new technologies in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Statutory accounting experience required.
• Experience coordinating statutory filings with regulators (NAB and state bodies).
• Ability to coach and mentor accounting staff.
• Leadership experience at senior, manager, or director level.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidance and finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the statutory accounting and financial reporting function.
• Coordinate statutory filings across entities with regulators.
• Act as SME on current and upcoming statutory guidance.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and adoption of new technologies.
