The role maintains general ledger activities, prepares reconciliations, and supports month-end close while collaborating with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience in staff/junior roles.
• Restaurant/hospitality/retail or multi-unit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting activities including journal entries and GL maintenance.
• Support month-end close with analyses and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting, schedules, and ad hoc analyses.
• Analyze account activity, investigate variances and discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets.
• Support AP/AR functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure policy compliance.
• Partner with operations to resolve questions and improve processes.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
