Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Some understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, SunSystems, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and reclassifications.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash account analysis.
• Manage fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities and meet established closing deadlines.
• Prepare financial analyses and variance reporting for operating expenses, travel expenses, and marketing expenditures.
• Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns and support other state and local tax compliance requirements.
• Perform intercompany account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support external audits, internal audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for financial statement reviews and audits.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives within ERP systems.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned.
