Job summary

Colorado Industrial Packaging (CIP) is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. This hybrid role involves working with executive leadership and covering AR, AP, and general ledger tasks, with emphasis on month-end close and cash flow visibility.

The position offers a $65,000–$75,000 salary plus a discretionary annual bonus, with 3 in-office days per week and 2 remote days after onboarding, in the Aurora/Denver area or Colorado

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent) with 1–3 years in operational accounting.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AR, AP, inventory, and GL accounting; ERP experience and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Cash application & management: apply cash receipts to AR and reconcile banking records.
• Accounts payable: process vendor invoices and maintain AP records; reconcile credit cards.
• Vendor & customer management: set up vendors/customers, banking verification, W-9 collection, terms.
• Month-end close: prepare entries, reconcile balance sheets (incl. inventory), depreciation, accruals, payroll.
