Job summary

MODE Global is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support general ledger accounting, monthly close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis in Dallas, TX. This hybrid role reports to the Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager and collaborates across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation, excel at researching discrepancies, and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and reconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
• Experience with ERP/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Complete month-end close activities by deadlines.
• Record intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Investigate variances and conduct financial analysis.
