Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Staff Accountant for a hybrid role based in Austin or San Francisco. You will manage lease, fixed asset and GL transactions, assist with monthly close, and support asset management and payables teams.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and comfort with NetSuite, Tipalti, Microsoft 365 and Google Docs. Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting
• Exposure to Excel and general ledger processes
• Bachelor’s Degree required; CPA exam eligible preferred
• No prior professional experience required; accounting concepts welcomed

Responsibilities

• Manage lease and fixed asset transactions
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for fixed assets
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
• Coordinate with asset management and payables teams
• Maintain depreciation and vehicle leasing schedules
