Respondology is hiring a Staff Accountant I in Boulder, CO for day‑to‑day bookkeeping, AR/AP, invoicing, deposits, and reporting. You will work closely with the CFO as the first core accounting team member and help scale the finance function.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Success on billing and collections. Growth toward broader accounting responsibilities is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or AR/AP experience (internships count).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of debits/credits, reconciliations, and AP/AR processes.
• Comfort billing clients and handling payments with a professional touch.

Responsabilités

• Manage day‑to‑day accounts receivable and apply payments.
• Process customer invoicing and ensure on-time bills.
• Enter vendor bills, run payments, and maintain AP inbox.
• Respond to internal/external questions via shared accounting inbox.
• Record deposits and reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Prepare monthly commissions and recurring AP/AR reports.
