Job summary

Hixen Search Group is partnering with a Columbus manufacturing company to add a Staff Accountant to the accounting team. This role focuses on day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting, with growth opportunities as capabilities expand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of experience preferred, but 1+ year will be considered.
• Public accounting experience is beneficial but not required.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close across multiple business entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Support various general accounting activities and projects.
• Work collaboratively with members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
