Job summary

Energy Worldnet, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Finance team with ownership of key accounting processes and continuous improvement across accounting operations. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and ownership in a high-growth technology environment.

The position requires relocation to the Dallas–Fort Worth area, hybrid onsite/offsite work, and strict adherence to GAAP. Ideal candidates have experience in SaaS or energy-related industries and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close responsibilities.
• Experience working within an ERP accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & General Ledger Management: manage journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and closing tasks.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: prepare internal reports, analyze results, investigate variances and prepare classifications.
• Compliance, Controls & Audit Support: assist with revenue recognition and audit requests, maintain internal controls.
• Systems & Process Improvement: leverage NetSuite and other systems to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with departments to gather and analyze financial information.
