Job summary

The Addison Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for a permanent, hybrid role in Reading, PA. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation, be organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, ledger maintenance across ERP systems, bank reconciliations, audit support, and intercompany balance validation. SAP experience is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance and monthly close processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong written/verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and support the monthly close process
• Complete regular account reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accounts across two ERP systems
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly and respond to bank inquiries
• Support the annual audit with documentation for external auditors
• Verify intercompany balances with colleagues
• Stay current on accounting practices and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned
