Job summary

Wallace Plese + Dreher, LLP, a locally owned CPA firm with offices in Chandler and Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a full-time Staff Accountant to join our Client Advisory Services team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the option to work from either Chandler or Scottsdale.

You will support clients across industries, handling AP/AR, reconciliations, and year-end tasks while enhancing technical and client-service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online; familiarity with cloud-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review financial information and documents for accuracy.
• Assist in processing year-end 1099 forms.
• Diagnose and support accounting software integration tools.
• Develop efficiencies and automation where applicable.
