Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Staff Accountant in Dallas, TX, offering a hybrid schedule with three days onsite per week. You will manage A/R and A/P, prepare journals and depreciation, and perform reconciliations while collaborating across Finance, IT, and operations to improve processes.

Bachelor’s in Accounting and 3+ years of experience are required. The role provides exposure to a leading eyewear retailer and manufacturer, with a clear path to long-term growth and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, GL accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership and drive for process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-charge bookkeeping activities including A/R and A/P.
• Prepare journal entries, monthly accruals and depreciation entries.
• Perform monthly GL, account, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee remote business-unit balance sheets and monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Prepare month-end close and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities to automate and streamline entries.
• Collaborate with finance, business-unit operations, and IT across the organization.
