Job summary

Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, is seeking a Manager, Sourcing Portfolio in Auburn, CA. The role interfaces with Power Generation and Procurement to develop and execute strategic sourcing that balances cost, quality, and risk, while delivering value.

The Hybrid role leads a team of Category Leaders, driving SRPM across Power Generation and delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements within a resilient supply chain.

Qualifications

• 8 years of total sourcing or related industry experience.
• Experience leading strategic sourcing events from opportunity identification through contract execution.
• Project Management experience.
• 2-3 years of supervisor experience.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface between Power Generation and Procurement for sourcing activities.
• Develops strategic portfolio and category plans to generate cost savings and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Oversees contract spend across multiple spend categories and governs contract approvals.
• Leads complex cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Manages supplier relationships and performance, including SRPM across Power Generation.
• Establishes service level agreements to hold suppliers accountable for performance.
