Job summary

Guardian Life seeks a Solution Architect to own and shape technical solutions at the value-stream and product level. The role is hands-on, aligning with Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable technology solutions.

You will collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and platform teams to drive architecture patterns, governance, and cross-domain reuse while mentoring engineers and reducing technical debt.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, data integration and modern architectures.
• Experience in Agile / product-based delivery models.
• Proven ability to balance speed, quality, risk and long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Owns product/team-level solution design and delivery architecture.
• Design and document solution architectures including application, data and infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Tech Leads to align roadmaps and MVP scope.
• Ensure solutions follow Guardian architecture standards and security requirements.
• Provide hands-on guidance to teams on design quality and code structure.
• Lead proof-of-concepts and mentor engineers on architecture principles.
