Job summary

You will design and execute tests based on requirements and risk, develop traceable test cases, and support automation initiatives to improve verification across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality engineering or related field.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred).
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles.
• Experience with manual and automated test case design.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans for features and releases based on requirements, risk, and intended use.
• Create repeatable, traceable test cases aligned to software requirements and risk controls.
• Design high-quality test cases with clear preconditions, test steps, expected results, and automation considerations.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with SDETs to support automated test implementation.
• Execute manual testing and evaluate automated test results to assess software quality and requirements compliance.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, risk controls, test cases, test execution results, and defects.
