Qualifications

• BA/BS in computer science or related field with experience in one programming language.
• 3+ years of software quality and testing across product lifecycle for the II role; 1 year of automation.
• Experience with web, mobile and database technologies and automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with TDD/ATDD, CI and testability practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project scrum team and defect triage with agile practices.
• Review stories, acceptance criteria, specs, designs, code and tests for quality.
• Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system tests; write test cases.
• Report results, log defects, verify fixes, assess impact of changes.
• Ensure testability and coverage; mentor on coverage and stability.
• Collaborate with development to define requirements ensuring testability and reliability.
• Use metrics to drive process effectiveness and monitor testing progress.
