Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking an Engineering Intern to work in a cross-functional product team, delivering well-defined engineering tasks under guidance. You will learn cloud-native, DevSecOps, automation, observability, and AI-enabled tooling while aligning engineering work with client needs and business value.

You will be guided by experienced engineers, receive coaching, and contribute to cloud-based solutions and modern software delivery practices, within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Completion of coursework in programming, software engineering fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, or comparable technical subjects.
• Experience developing software through academic coursework, personal projects, hackathons, research, open-source contributions, or comparable learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own Engineering Delivery by completing well-defined engineering assignments under guidance, with emphasis on quality and security.
• Apply fundamentals while learning team technologies, cloud-native, CI/CD, testing, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align engineering work with product goals.
