Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Software Engineer for Platforms & Productivity to build and operate internal tools that accelerate engineering workflows across Cloudflare. You will own developer tooling, CI/CD automation, and AI-assisted development, contributing directly to safer, faster software delivery.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with platform teams to raise developer experience, security, and reliability while shaping guardrails and policy-as-code across Cloudflare’s

Qualifications

Experience building developer productivity tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
Ability to translate complex problems into automated guardrails and feedback.

Responsibilities

Build developer productivity tools, MCP servers, and AI agents.
Automate Engineering Codex controls through CI/CD checks, templates, and policy-as-code.
Monitor Codex adoption, improve controls, and support remediation and exception workflows.
Improve GitOps, developer experience, platform security, and reliability.
Partner with product teams on architecture and platform adoption.
Respond to and prevent incidents affecting internal platforms.
