Ford Motor Company is seeking a senior software engineer to design and develop web services, APIs, and microservices for Enterprise Technology supporting FCSD. You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions across electrified and traditional vehicle portfolios.

The role emphasizes agile practices, code quality, and continuous improvement while working with global teams and cloud platforms. Hybrid onsite four days a week with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in Software Engineering, Architecture and Agile Framework.
• 5+ Core Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular.
• 3+ Modern databases (Relational and non-relational).
• Proven ability to work with a diverse and global team.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops webservices, webpages, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with other product teams on integrations, testing, and deployments.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications.
• Ensure software engineering excellence within the product team.
• Collaborate with other product teams to reduce complexity and improve interoperability.
• Innovate and operate with an iterative, agile and user-centric perspective.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• Code, pair, and review architecture with other engineers.
