Job summary
CIBC is seeking an Application Developer to join the Commercial Banking Technology and Payments area in Chicago. You will help develop, test and support cross-functional, multi-platform application systems as part of the bank’s digital transformation.
You will work with senior team members to broaden your technical skills across databases, cloud, ETL, and UI technologies while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive environment committed to trust, teamwork, and accountability.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications across databases, cloud, ETL, and UI layers.
- Experience with cross-functional, multi-platform application systems is expected.
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into design specifications with senior peers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and help implement cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Participate in technical design, development and integration activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts and tech resources to gather requirements and prepare design specs.
