Job summary

Trellis in Round Rock, TX, seeks a Software Engineer III to build and maintain web, mobile, AI/ML, and legacy applications in a hybrid setup. You’ll collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable software and address production issues.

Ideal candidates will have strong Java, Python, and React skills, plus experience with AI-enabled features, data pipelines, and CI/CD practices to support rapid, reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Java applications and RESTful web services.
• Experience with AI-enabled technologies and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software design, development, testing and production deployment.
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle support of web, mobile, legacy, and AI-enabled apps.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications.
• Design and integrate AI/ML capabilities and data pipelines.
