Amentum in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH is seeking a Journeyman Software Developer to design, develop, and support software solutions using Java, SQL queries, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and web development techniques. You will contribute to team projects, receive hands-on mentoring, and grow your skills in a collaborative environment on-site with potential remote/hybrid options.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or a high school diploma with 3+

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline with 2+ years software development experience.
• Or a high school diploma/GED with 3+ years software development experience.
• At least 1 year of Java development and unit/integration testing experience.
• Experience with Ant and Maven build tools and Git/Bitbucket CM tools.
• Must live within 1 hour of Wright Patterson AFB or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, development, and engineering of software solutions using SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Java.
• Support development and communicate weekly status reports.
• Assist demonstrations of code and contribute to team efforts.
• Assist with production design of requirements and Software Design Documents (SDDs).
