Job summary

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking an Assistant Software Asset Manager to support Prince William County DoIT centers. You will report to the Software Asset Manager and handle software inventory, vendor management, user access management, compliance, and audits.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 2-5 years in software asset management, familiarity with ServiceNow, and strong Excel skills. A Public Trust clearance is required or obtainable, with a focus on policy adherence and process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2-5 years experience in Software Asset Management.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• MS Excel Formula Function & Pivot Table Reporting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Knowledge of concepts and practices within Software Asset Management.
• Accountable, on-time, and able to work independently.
• Pass PWC Commercial and Police background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain software inventory records asset databases.
• Process software requests and user access.
• Ensure compliance with policy, software purchasing, and lifecycle of the software.
• Track software licenses and renewals.
• Perform audits on software to ensure compliance, improve security, and improve usage.
• Coordinate with software vendors on orders and maintenance.
• Access portals and SSO groups to manage users for each software.
• Look for ways to automate and improve processes.
• Other duties assigned.
