Job summary

DFW Dorms & Beyond in Plano, TX is seeking a creative Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to grow our digital presence across social channels, email, and marketing campaigns. This hybrid role blends content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking with in-office collaboration and remote work based on business needs.

This position works closely with the CEO and team to plan, create, schedule, and manage content supporting products, design services, events, partnerships, and brand growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media and digital marketing.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest.
• Able to create and edit short-form video content.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Organized with a content calendar and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms.
• Develop Reels, short-form videos, Stories, graphics, captions, and promotional content.
• Maintain and manage the monthly social media content calendar.
• Create content for students and parents while maintaining the brand voice.
• Support product launches, campaigns, collaborations, events, and new initiatives.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, including content and layout.
• Capture and organize photo and video content during content days.
• Monitor trends, audio, platform updates, and opportunities.
• Assist with community engagement through comments and DMs.
• Track marketing performance and identify engaging content.
• Maintain an organized library of assets.
• Collaborate on campaign ideas and initiatives.
• Assist with additional brand/marketing projects.
