Job summary

Intel is seeking an experienced SoC Design Verification Engineer to join a cutting-edge team responsible for validating complex System-on-Chip designs. You will design scalable verification plans, build reusable test environments, and drive defect discovery from presilicon through collaboration with architects and RTL teams.

The role emphasizes UVM-based verification, AMBA protocol expertise, and integration of security coverage into test plans, with a hybrid work model across US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of hands-on experience in SoC design verification including OVM/UVM
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SoC design verification including OVM/UVM, debugging, and test planning

Responsibilities

• Create and update UVM-based test bench generation and test case creation
• Define and develop scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans
• Create test benches and verification environments that align with microarchitecture specifications
• Execute verification plans, including emulation and system simulation models
• Debug and root cause issues in presilicon environments and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, postsilicon teams, and physical design teams
• Document and maintain test plans and drive technical reviews
• Integrate security coverage within test plans, including regression and debug tests
• Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies
• Absorb learnings from postsilicon development and incorporate feedback
