Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year in Warton, MD. This full-time role offers guaranteed hours, dedicated planning time, and a manageable caseload with support from TheraPeds and the school district.

You will provide therapy to students, develop IEP goals, conduct evaluations, collect data, and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure appropriate services. The position is hybrid with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Active or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based service delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Comfort with technology and documentation.
• Ability to complete required background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans.
• Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports.
• Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers.
• Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records.
