Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Denton, MD. The role combines direct therapy with collaboration in a hybrid onsite/remote structure, with district and TheraPeds support and guaranteed hours.

The SLPA will provide therapy services, conduct screeners, monitor progress, and work with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents to support K–12 students’ communication needs.

Qualifications

• ASHA-registered SLPA certification required.
• State licensure as SLPA required where applicable.
• Department of Education SLPA licensure where required.
• Experience working with children in school settings preferred.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct SLPA therapy to students.
• Conduct screening procedures and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Document therapy, planning and meetings as part of duties.
