Muon Space, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer to advance our Simulation infrastructure in San Jose. You will build, optimize, and maintain in-house simulation services, collaborating with modeling experts to deliver production-grade tools.

The role requires 5+ years as a software engineer, strong Python and C++ skills, and a willingness to operate in new technical domains. Hybrid work with on-site presence three days per week in San Jose.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering in a team environment.
• B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• Willingness to work in novel technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Build and support in-house simulation services for multiple stakeholder teams.
• Integrate simulation models with products in collaboration with domain experts.
• Improve simulation products based on client feedback.
• Work with Software Test to apply tools to testing scenarios.
• Contribute to work estimation and planning.
• Help the team meet performance metrics.
