Job summary

Braven Agency Inc. is seeking a part-time hybrid video editor to craft short-form content for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and more. You will transform talking-head footage into scroll-stopping videos, leveraging AI tools such as Descript, CapCut AI, Runway, and Pika, with an eye for captions, color, and pacing.

You will enhance stories with dynamic text, b-roll, and graphics in Canva, ensuring brand consistency and trend alignment across platforms. A portfolio of social video work is required.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of short-form social media video work required
• Agency or fast-paced environment experience preferred
• Proficiency in AI video editing tools (Descript, CapCut AI, Runway, etc.)
• Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and social media asset creation
• Strong understanding of color correction, audio editing, and transitions
• Sharp sense of pacing, storytelling and visual engagement for social-first audiences
• Knowledge of current short-form video trends across platforms
• Excellent attention to detail — captions, audio sync, and brand consistency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn clips) using AI-powered tools
• Add auto-captions, subtitles, and dynamic text overlays
• Apply color correction and grading for visual consistency
• Polish audio — noise reduction, level balancing, syncing
• Use transitions to maintain pacing and viewer engagement
• Insert AI-generated or stock b-roll to enhance storytelling
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
• Design supplementary graphics using Canva; follow brand guidelines
• Stay current on trends and collaborate with social media/marketing teams
• Test and adopt new AI tools to improve speed and output
