Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Service Technician to join an established engineering team in Lancashire/Cumbria. The role covers field and workshop work on specialist machinery, offering a company van and regular overtime.

The position offers a salary of £30,000-£40,000 DOE, overtime paid at 1.5x rising to 2x after four hours, and a full benefits package including pension and training opportunities.

Service Technician - Field & Workshop Engineer

Lancashire/Cumbria | £30,000-£40,000 DOE + Overtime + Van

Looking for a new engineering role offering regular overtime, a company van and specialist training?

We're recruiting for a Service Technician to join an established engineering business, working on specialist machinery in a varied workshop and field-based role.

What's on offer?

• £30,000-£40,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Approximately 8 hours' overtime per week
• Overtime paid at 1.5x, increasing to 2x after the first four hours
• Company van (Mercedes Vito or Ford Transit)
• Door-to-door travel to customer sites, subject to company arrangements
• Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
• 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays

• Full-time, permanent position

What we're looking for

We're interested in engineers with a background in plant, agricultural, construction, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or diesel engineering.

You’ll need strong diagnostic skills, a practical approach, good communication skills and a full UK driving licence. The ability to read electrical or hydraulic schematics is advantageous.

Location: Covering Lancashire, Cumbria, the Midlands and Scotland.
