Arch Insurance Group Inc. in Dallas, TX or Alpharetta, GA invites a Senior Underwriter to lead Middle Market P&C underwriting with broker relationships and technical expertise. The role is hybrid, requiring travel around 20% for broker activities and production needs.

You will underwrite renewals and new accounts, negotiate terms, and coordinate with MMC, ARC, Claims and Operations to optimize profitability and growth. A strong regional market understanding is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting experience, middle market preferred.
• Undergraduate degree required; economics, finance, or business background preferred.
• Established broker relationships and regional market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage broker portfolio to drive profitability and growth.
• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet targets.
• Negotiate price and terms with producers.
• Serve as technical expert in Middle Market P&C product lines.
• Ensure FAC Reinsurance placement prior to policy inception.
• Develop broker/agency relationships in the territory for growth.
• Collaborate with MMC, ARC, Claims and Operations during underwriting.
