Job summary

Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Airborne Power Control Product Team in Kirkland, WA. Lead cross-functional engineering teams through new product development and system integration for aircraft electrical power systems.

The role offers a hybrid/on-site schedule with two days remote, local Seattle/Kirkland candidates preferred, and relocation not available.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in Program Management, Project Engineering, or related technical functions.
• Experience in aerospace engineering development projects.
• Proven leadership of multi-functional technical engineering teams through product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-functional technical engineering teams through new product development from inception to production.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to deliver program commitments on time, within budget, and to requirements.
• Provide clear technical direction and decision-making to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
• Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of assigned products and systems.
• Build and sustain external customer relationships at multiple levels, including technical and commercial stakeholders.
