Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Test Infrastructure Architect to own the SSR lab architecture and long‑term roadmap in Westford/Andover MA with remote support for Quincy. You will design labs, networks, compute, storage, and management services while leading cross‑functional teams.

You will drive automation, maintain systems of record, and mentor engineers, ensuring reliability, scalability, and tight integration with engineering and QA partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, site reliability engineering, engineering laboratories, data-center environments, network infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience designing, supporting, or leading multi-rack, multi-network engineering, development, or product-validation environments.

Responsibilities

• Owns strategy, architecture, standards, reliability, capacity, and long-term roadmap for SSR test environments in Westford/Andover and Quincy.
• Designs and evolves lab layouts, networks, compute, storage, connectivity, and management networks.
• Leads troubleshooting across hardware, Linux, networking, virtualization, automation, and test infrastructure.
• Drives automation for onboarding, provisioning, configuration, inventory, monitoring, and reporting.
• Maintains NetBox or similar tools for equipment inventory and lifecycle status.
• Plans lab capacity and future infrastructure investments.
• Coordinates equipment purchasing, installation, rack placement, cabling, and documentation.
• Performs hands-on lab work and supports remote environment in partnership with on-site personnel.
