Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Principal Tax Manager to lead the company's tax function, including income, transaction, and property tax compliance, reporting, planning, and risk management. The role partners with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Operations, Procurement, and external advisors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal/state/local income tax compliance and ASC 740 provisions.
• Oversee sales, use, telecom and other indirect taxes and filings.
• Coordinate property tax planning and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Manage business registrations, licensing, and tax accounts.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support for strategic initiatives and acquisitions.
• Coordinate tax audits and interactions with authorities.
• Establish tax controls, policies, and process improvements.
• Lead relationships with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders.
