Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• Experience with structural steel design required.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (Risa 3D, Enercalc, Woodworks).
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and calculations for low-rise commercial and industrial buildings.
• Coordinate with drafting staff using CAD/BIM to produce drawings.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and support investigations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and stakeholders to ensure code compliance.
• Review construction documents and submittals; provide construction support.
• Oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines.
