Cognizant is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer in Wayzata, MN, to manage enterprise storage, backup, and recovery environments across global teams. You will ensure availability, performance, capacity, security, and lifecycle management of Dell EMC platforms and related backup technologies.

The role collaborates with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to deliver compliant storage and data protection services, including DR testing and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Hands-on with Dell EMC Unity, PowerMax, Isilon (PowerScale) administration.
• Strong knowledge of storage provisioning, snapshots, replication, capacity management.
• Experience administering Fibre Channel SAN and NAS environments.
• Expertise with Dell EMC Data Domain backups and replication.
• Experience managing Commvault backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of Druva cloud backup and recovery technologies.
• Experience performing backup restores, disaster recovery testing, and recovery validation.
• Strong troubleshooting across storage and infra.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, reporting, and ITIL incident/change/problem management.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Administer Dell EMC Unity, PowerMax, and Isilon storage platforms.
• Provision and manage LUNs, pools, snapshots, replication, and storage groups.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Manage NAS shares, quotas, and access controls.
• Administer Fibre Channel SAN, zoning, and multipathing.
• Support storage migrations and technology refreshes.
• Monitor storage health and availability for operational excellence.
• Administer Data Domain backup appliances and replication.
• Manage Commvault backup schedules and retention configurations.
• Support Druva backup for endpoints, M365, VMs, and cloud workloads.
• Perform backup monitoring and disaster recovery testing.
• Troubleshoot storage, backup, replication, and recovery incidents.
• Support ITSM processes: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request.
• Create reports and docs for continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders and vendors for reliability and compliance.
