Job summary

ActioNet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Public Trust clearance for a hybrid role in Silver Spring, MD. You will upgrade and design software applications supporting climate-related science and research.

Join a federal-focused team of developers and system administrators. The role is primarily remote, with onsite needs for meetings, demonstrations, testing, and more, currently about 1 day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments.
• Strong understanding of C#, .NET, SQL and related tools.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and within a team as a Full Stack developer.
• Rewrite legacy code to improve performance and integration with .NET ecosystem.
• Collaborate with system and software engineers to deliver quality applications.
• Ensure high performance, quality and responsiveness of software.
